On August 26th, 2014, Landmarks Association posted a video detailing the significance of Missouri’s Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit program and its effect on St. Louis and Missouri’s architectural heritage. The video was narrated by former Landmarks executive director Andrew Weil and was published on the official Landmarks YouTube page. To this day, developers continue to rely on state and federal historic tax credits to justify restoring and rehabilitating important historic landmarks in St. Louis and beyond, and Landmarks has served as an integral player in the process – both with decades of National Register of Historic Places nomination work and surveys, and a strong network of developers, contractors, and historic consultants.
