This season, we have regularly scheduled tours on Saturdays at 9:30 am from April 5th to October 25th.

East Tour
Explore the architectural legacy of the heart of the City. From the bustling riverfront of the French-American entrepreneurs to the skyscrapers of the 20th century, you’ll find famous architectural and engineering marvels.

West Tour
St. Louis’ grandest public buildings are a testament to the city’s ambitions during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Explore their history, architectural significance and how they changed the area from blighted to monumental.
HIGHLIGHTS: Union Station | Stifel Theatre | City Hall | Central Library | Campbell House Museum | Main Post Office | Soldiers Memorial Military Museum
What to Expect
Our goal is to provide an entertaining and educational experience for all of our guests.
2 hours / 2 Miles
Tours run between 2-2.5 hours long, and cover about two miles at a leisurely pace. Tours are also limited to only 15 guests so if it’s not on the calendar, it has sold out.

Our experienced volunteer tour leaders will introduce you to the fascinating history, culture, and rich built environment of St. Louis.
Historic Stories
We find that our guests are interested in the stories of how the buildings fit into the culture and the history of the city as well as how the buildings relate to the city.
Interested in a Private Group Tour?
We offer private tours for groups of five or more.
If you would like a specific theme, we request at least 4 weeks’ notice for us to prepare.
Are you interested in taking one of our tours on a day other than Saturday? We can set up tours on other days for groups of five or more. We can also tailor a tour to your preferences and time-frame. Tours are great for family reunions or entertaining out-of-town guests.

How long do the tours take and how far will we walk?
Tours can last up to 2.5 hours. Expect to walk approximately two miles at a moderate pace. We encourage you to bring comfortable walking shoes and your own water. Tours are open to individuals or groups of 1 to 15 people. For groups of more than 15, please contact us.
What if there is rain or inclement weather expected during my tour?
Tours take place rain or shine. The only exception is if severe and dangerous weather is expected during your tour, in which case we will notify you ahead of time and reschedule
Where should I park?
Surface lot and garage parking are available throughout downtown. Two-hour metered parking is available on the street. Download the Park Louie App to pay for parking and to add time to your meter. Metro stops are conveniently located. Use the Eighth and Pine station for the East Tour and Union Station for the West Tour.

What is your return policy?
Tickets are not refundable, but they can be exchanged for one of our other tours or for a different date
Do the tours start and end at the same place?
The West tour ends at the starting point and the East tour ends within three blocks of the start.
Are the tours ADA accessible?
The tours move along city sidewalks, which are ADA accessible. Some tours go inside historical buildings, which may not be fully accessible.
Can I get to the tours using public transit?
Yes. Our tour start locations are either on or a short walk away from Metro Bus & MetroLink stops.
