On July 13th, 2022, Farrah Anderson from St. Louis Public Radio published an article detailing the imminent demolition of the historic Culver House by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Former executive director Andrew Weil was interviewed for the article, and he provided additional insight into why the demolition process had skipped the typical failsafes that usually bar immediate teardowns of historic properties.
